Happy Pride Month 2021! I want to thank all of the people that helped me throughout my life, who are Gay, Queer, Trans, et al.  They were some of my best friends in high school, especially, and I love everyone who shares their lives with me.  I wish all of you a very Happy Pride Month, and I'm proud to know you.  This picture is based on a tattoo that someone I knew had. Sincerely, Camille McGuire June 7, 2021 Last night I had a dream about a purse that I used to have by the Canadian company "Roots".  I wound up giving to my sister in real life.  It was green and small, and in my dream, it contained a black hole, so that I could fit anything I wanted in it, including furniture and a bicycle.  All I had to do was spin it, and the things that I needed appeared until I fished them out.   I wish I had one in real life!   Last night I had a dream about Eglinton Avenue in Toronto.  It has been under construction over the past few years, to build the Crosstown LRT (Light Rail Transit) system.  Previously, it had been one of the busiest streets in mid-town Toronto, but what has happened to it has been devastating for the businesses there.  They were already suffering from all of the construction that had been taking place, slowing down traffic to almost a standstill.  Now, with the COVID-19 lockdowns, it has suffered immeasurably. My dream was that I was on a bus, and I saw a snail out the window that was holding a "SLOW" sign and wearing a construction helmet.  How appropriate!  I have to take that Eglinton Avenue bus every time I see my doctor. May 6, 2021 Last night I had a dream that I was in a kayak, paddling away, when I saw an iceberg that had polar bears and penguins on it.  I looked up, and realized that the top of the Chrysler Building in New York wa...

I've been making Easter eggs.  I've found that the pencil crayons that I use for my blog are actually the best thing for colouring eggs that I've ever tried, and I've tried just about everything in my youth, including crayons, watercolours and acrylic paint, along with the traditional egg dyes.  The Spiderman head pictured above, was done with the pens that I use to do my blog, along with pencil crayons, but I found that the pen smudges.  Here's another try, Humpty Dumpty featured below: I used a mechanical pencil for the black lines. I just found out that my boyfriend is a new Grandpa!  Congratulations! April 4, 2021 Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates!  It's a beautiful day here in Toronto.  Here is a "Minion" Easter egg (from the movie "Despicable Me". April 8, 2021 I have been experiencing great difficulty in booking a Covid-19 vaccination appointment, like many Torontonians that I know. It's coming through in my dreams, and I...

Last night I had a dream, that there was a big gathering in my mother’s apartment in Belleville, with a lot of my relatives there.   The era of COVID-19 was over, and we were all celebrating.   I was having a wonderful time with my brother and sister and their spouses, and I hadn’t seen them in over a year.   I brought a bunch of little sausage rolls to heat up, and in my dream, my mother had three ovens, none of which I could figure out.   They had so many dials and other electronic features, it was like trying to drive a new Mercedes.   I finally came across a toaster oven shaped like a skull.   It was easy to figure out, and I put the food into it and heated it up.   It had a rather disgusting option of “spittle” that it used.   It was impossible not to put it on one of the spittle settings, so I set it for the lowest one. March 5, 2021 Last night I had a dream that I was sitting in my living room, and I heard three loud "bangs" at my wi...

Happy Black History Month! In Canada, on the ten dollar bill, is a portrait of Viola Desmond.  I drew her from this reference, and she's purple because that's the colour of the bill.  In 1946, she challenged racial segregation at a movie house in Nova Scotia, by refusing to leave a whites-only floor of the Roseland Theatre.  She worked as a beautician, and had her own business.  She died in 1965.  One of my heroes! February 2, 2021 Check out T-Nu's YouTube channel, featuring my drawing of cats animated by him!  It's truly awesome!!!!! T-Nu's Frog ramp February 3, 2021 That I went to a seafood buyer's convention.  There was a giant indoor pool there that you could swim in with the fish.  I bought a "grab bag", for $15.00 and of course, you don't know what's in a grab bag until you open it.  I got a Twinkie from the 1970s that had an expiry date of June 2025 (those things really do last forever!), a bag of caraway seeds for some reason...
