I draw your dreams

...that I was dropped off by my Mom in Belleville at the local train station.  I was fifteen minutes late for the train, and she left before I noticed the time on my ticket.  I went and asked the person behind the counter if there was another train to Toronto, but she said that there was a train to a nearby station, and from there I could take the train the next day the rest of the way.  There was a very cute hotel at the town I went to, and I ordered some food at the restaurant portion.  There was a wall of stuffed animal heads, and it didn't matter where I went in the room, their eyes followed me around.  I was told that there were no rooms available, but that I could stay in the room with their daughter and have a sleeping bag on the floor for only $10.00.  I caught the train to Toronto the next day in the morning.   I made a bunch of Christmas tree decorations made out of household items.  My dreams can go on for hours on end.  Pictured above were dentures, a milk-bone dog biscuit, a cigarette, a disposable razor and a bottle of nail polish.  Not featured here was a hacky-sack, a bottle of mustard, some oven mitts, a broken cell phone, and numerous other non-Christmas-ey things.  I drew and completed all of my Christmas and Hanukkah cards today, to send out to my family and friends.  The Hanukkah cards feature a nine-candle Menorah, and the Christmas cards feature Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer this year.  My place has been decorated, and looks nice.   That I went to a restaurant that had a special.  It was called "American Election Pie".  It was basically a stack of pancakes, blue and red with chocolate syrup and whipped cream with a cherry on top.  The blue was for the Democrats, and the red represented the Republicans.  When you got to the bottom, you could tell what party had won because it was either red or blue.  I got to the bottom of the stack, and I couldn't tell who had won, because it was saturated in too much chocolate sauce.  Then I woke up.  It's a week later and we still don't know.  My name is Camille McGuire and I would love to sketch your dreams! Last night I had a dream about an object that I found when I was a Junior Ranger in Quetico National Park, Pickerel Beach to be exact.  It is a hide scraper that was made by an indigenous person a very long time ago, and it's very worn from water over the eons.  It fits perfectly into my right hand, and it is very well balanced.  This sketch was done after I traced it's outline with a mechanical pencil, so it's very accurate.  I had a dream that I met the people who used it.  It was very cold, and I was outside with them.  There was a fire, and they were cooking fish over it.  Then someone came home with a deer over his back.  They used the hide scraper to clean the skin of the deer.  I will donate it to a museum at some point in the future.  It's one of my prized possessions.
