My name is Camille McGuire and I would love to sketch your dreams! Last night I had a dream about an object that I found when I was a Junior Ranger in Quetico National Park, Pickerel Beach to be exact. It is a hide scraper that was made by an indigenous person a very long time ago, and it's very worn from water over the eons. It fits perfectly into my right hand, and it is very well balanced. This sketch was done after I traced it's outline with a mechanical pencil, so it's very accurate. I had a dream that I met the people who used it. It was very cold, and I was outside with them. There was a fire, and they were cooking fish over it. Then someone came home with a deer over his back. They used the hide scraper to clean the skin of the deer. I will donate it to a museum at some point in the future. It's one of my prized possessions.
